What You May Discover?
The winding main road seems to take forever, yet it sets the
tone for what will follow. You make the turn and dive into a
dip as you cross a one-lane bridge, while the creek rushes
down stream. Yes – you are in the country! The narrow road,
shaded by the big leaf maple, is serene. Nearby, cattle grazing,
the young suckling at their mothers. Ducks on the pond go at
their business while you pass by all eyes and ears. For the last
few minutes you have been in “present time” and the worries
of every day life are already far away.
It is time to slow down, as the car could not go up the steep hill much faster anyhow. You are welcomed by the rock moss wall and matching pillars. More winding path and here is the cottage! The vivid yet tasteful colors, the underlying fragrance of flowering vegetation, the curtain material – all contribute to transport you into the French Provence region, the place of origin of Suzel, the owner.
